Peace, I'm Imani- a wife, therapist, doula and HypnoBirthing childbirth educator based in the Metro Atlanta area, hailing from Savannah, GA. I've been working in the perinatal space for the past 6 years.
I became a licensed master social worker in 2018 and have been providing individual therapy since that time. I started out in community based mental health and transitioned into private practice in March of 2023 with Maternally Mindful.
During that time, got trained as a fertility and birth doula with the National Black Doulas Association. I started my doula business, Rebyrth Wellness and have successfully support over 100+ families in Metro Atlanta & Savannah, GA.
Now, with Metro Atlanta Perinatal Therapy & Wellness, my goal is to build upon the foundations I built as a doula and bring a holistive collective energy to the perinatal space.
Outside of supporting families through life's transitions, I enjoy slow early mornings (I get my best thinking done before sun rise!), wellness practices, traveling (I've visited all but 3 continents), building meaningful community, and spending intentional time with the people I love the most.
My approach to therapy and doula support is warm, authentic and intuitive. I believe you deserve to feel seen, supported and safe enough to heal, grow and move through the perinatal and life journey with confidence.

Our Executive Assistant, Ai'isha Mosby, is a current Ph.D. student studying Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition. She previously completed the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Accelerated Certificate Program, where she shadowed a perinatologist and joined her first research team. Before moving to Georgia, she worked for a political campaign and learned of science communication and health advocacy. Ai'isha's interest in maternal health started at an early age, and her passion grew as she learned of the preventative hardships one faces during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Her research interests focus on dietary influences on individuals with or at risk for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and she hopes to provide the community with information and resources to support holistic health and wellness for all pre-, ante-, and postpartum.
